Just finished reading last night, because stupid work shifts kept interrupting. I’m still not coherent enough to sort through everything, but there are some things (about a million) that stood out and that I have to write out.
( Deathly Hallows )
Ok, sorry for all the rambling and random things, but this stuff is all swirling around in my head right now and it is so overwhelming. If I only had a Pensieve to put it all in. Anyway, it’s OVER. I might have to call that hotline number that helps you get through the emotional stress of Harry Potter being done *lol*

I am so ready. And so excited.
And I cannot wait for 1 am.
I've stayed away from the internet, newspapers, blabbermouths for the past week so as not be spoiled. I swear that if I hear something before I finish reading, I wil cry. They are EVERYWHERE! And EVIL! *hides*
Anyway, HAPPY READING EVERYONE! Current Mood: ecstatic Current Music: the fan

Since I'm bored senselessy and no one is on AIM to entertain me and I can't step out of the house 'cause that evil thing called sun would cause me more pain than I already am in, I'm stealing a couple of tests.
( Random stuff about me )
PS> why did no one warn me that Paris Hilton was on VM? Watching something with her in it goes against every single one of my moral values.Current Mood: sunburnt Current Music: One way or another - Blondie

( SYLTH 2.0 )
Last night "The Killers" opened the SummerStage season in Central Park. The concert had been sold out forever, but we went there anyway, armed with a blanket and sat in the Park and listened to it. Luis XIV was their supporting group. It was great - full of people just sitting in the park, having picnics and listening to the concert. After that Julie and I went to eat pizza at John's Pizzeria - they make the best pizza here.
I saw Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants on Friday night - it was so much fun. It's definitely a girly movie, but who cares - it put me in a good and depressing mood at the same time - some parts of the movie were kind of sad, but they were always there for each other, no matter what. It made me miss my friends back home and it made me realize that the year's almost over and that I'm going to miss so many things here, too.
No definite plans for today, yet. Off to read some fics!

Yesterday I finally got my Buffy DVDs (6th and 7th season) and I'm already basking in the spuffyness - oh, how I've missed these episodes! And except for some downloaded ones, I had seen all the other ones in Italian, which means that seeing them now in English is like seeing a completely new episode (a much better one, btw). But let's not get into a 'dubbing-rant'...
Just saw 'Seeing Red'...it's so one of the best ones of the 6th season. And Tara... *wipes tear* I'm saving the 7th season for when I'm on vacation - there are a lot of eps of that season that I've never seen (basically all of them except 'Chosen' and some of the first ones) and waiting is going to build my giddiness to watch them even more (*freak*).
I saw that they are airing 'Lost' re-reuns this summer, so I'm definitely going to watch that, too. And this Veronica Mars addiction everyone seems to have makes me regret not watching it. Unfortunately they are not going to re-air season 1, so I'll probably d/l them. Oh yeah...busy summer program. LOL
If tonight I'm feeling a little less crappy, I'm going to the movies and see either 'Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants' or 'Lords of Dogtown' - I have to see both ASAP. I'll prolly see the Sisterhood tonight, as LoD opens today and I won't have time to get there too early to get a seat.
I'm off to watch some more Buffy.

| » I want to sleeep! |
I'm tired!! Sooo damn tired...don't know what's wrong with me, but I've always been the queen of sleep - I used to be able to fall asleep the second my head touched the pillow and now I toss and turn forever and wake up every hour. Which makes for a very cranky and PMS-y me. I'm back to the daily routine...working early in the morning, then free 'till 2.45 pm and then the afternoon - have to work also every night 'till Thursday and maybe Friday this week. But at least they are going to go away for the weekend again. Two more weeks and then I have almost a whole month of vacation and after that it's only a couple more of weeks of work 'till I'm done. Can't wait!!

Yes, I gave in to the root of every evil...a LiveJournal!
But why not, right? It seems to be cathartic for everyone else to vent about their daily dramas and thoughts, so I'm going to try it out and see if it works ;) My life's pretty boring anyway, so there's not that much to say.
I'm off to see if I can figure out how this thing works.
